This tool is a companion guide to the post I wrote, How to join-the-military-part-1-recruitment-prequalifications/oin the Military: Part 1 - Recruit Prequalifications.  Making sure you can meet the 7 prequalifications is the first steps in assessing whether the military is the right first step for you as you move from dependent teenager or young adult into independent adulthood. This guide will help you organize the information you gather for each branch of the military and make notes on how to overcome obstacles you may face if you do not meet certain requirements at this stage of your assessment.   If you have not read the article post you can use the link above.

The tool is easy to use, you are either selecting answers from a drop down box in the right hand column of the questionnaire or you type  your answer and thoughts into a text box.

About the Author

I am an author, attorney and trainer born in Chicago and living in a South Chicagoland Suburb.  A few years ago, I wrote the book, “How to Leave Your Parents’ Home and Leave on Your Own: A Guide for Teenagers and Young Adult”.  Helping teenagers and young adults whether living at home, in foster care or on the streets make this transition to become an independent adult is one of my focuses.  In addition to posting articles on the subject, I create training materials and tools to help with this transition.
